Fees

When you instruct one of our barristers, fees will be agreed in advance, depending on the member of chambers who is being instructed, and the information provided by you.

Fees are normally based on the hourly rate for the member and the anticipated workload. Our clerks can advise you on each barrister’s current hourly rate.

Once we agree an estimate of fees we will abide by it, subject only to possible renegotiation if the brief changes materially or if unexpected complications arise in the work to be done.

Our clerks submit fee notes promptly after work is completed, or in accordance with your instructions.
